Privacy Policy
Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers of Greater New Haven, Inc. (IVCG) is committed to protecting the privacy of our donors and supporters. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, to whom we disclose it, and the security practices we follow to safeguard your information.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information from our donors:

Personal Information: Name, address, email address, phone number, and other details related to the relationship between that individual (or entity) and IVCG.

Donation Information: Donation amounts, dates of donations, payment information, fund, appeal, and campaign year factors, details used for reconciliation with IVCG’s accounting system, and pertinent notes about acknowledgement status, anonymity, tributes, and soft credit to fundraisers. Note: not all information is relevant for all transactions.

Communication Preferences: Preferences for receiving communications from us. This can include nuanced preferences for certain types of emails in addition to the preferred method of communication.

IVCG agents are involved with data stewardship. Following a review of qualifications and a strict confidentiality agreement, some employees and volunteers involved with data stewardship will be given limited access to the database (constituent relationship management system) or other record systems for the purpose of supporting the care and stewardship of associated individuals and the IVCG mission. Access is provided on a need-to-know basis and information is protected within IVCG’s information systems.

Explore Public Gardens Privacy Policy
The "Explore Public Gardens" mobile app is a public service resource stewarded by the CT Garden Collaborative, a DBA of Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers of Greater New Haven, Inc. To visit the CT Garden Collaborative website and to learn more about the mobile app, visit: https://www.connecticutpublicgardens.org/
Explore Public Gardens does not collect, use, save, or have access to any data of any kind on your mobile device. Explore Public Gardens asks for permissions regarding your phone’s gps location and camera. These permissions allow Explore Public Gardens to function in connection with other apps on your phone. Explore Public Gardens does not collect any data related to your use of these services through the app. However other apps, such as your mapping and navigation app of choice, have different data practices and may collect usage data in accordance with their own terms. Explore Public Gardens plays no part in data collection, use, storage, or access of or by any other software on your device. The only data that Explore Public Gardens collects is a confirmation that you have scanned a QR code at a point of interest within a garden. This data never exists on your phone and consists only of a record of the QR code being scanned. No personal data, location data, time data, or any other kind of data is generated or collected beyond a simple record showing that the QR code was scanned.
